Biography

Leah Rowell, PA-C was raised in New Bern, NC and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from East Carolina University in 1997. Upon graduating from ECU, she received commission as an officer in the United States Air Force.  Leah graduated from Joint Navigator Training (with the Navy, USMC, and USCG) in 1999.  After earning her wings, she was stationed at Offutt AFB, which is how Leah landed in the Midwest. Leah served for 8 years before separating from the service to be a full-time mom for her kids. Her oldest son is a Mechanical Engineering major at UNL, and younger son will graduate from high school next May and plans to attend college as well. Leah enjoys supporting the Creighton University PA program by conducting admissions interviews, precepting students, and giving academic lectures. She also gave a keynote speech for their White Coat Ceremony in 2022. In her free time, Leah enjoys music, hiking, road trips, football, and good bourbon.
