Biography
Scott Hoffman, D.O., is a dedicated physician with a wealth of experience in emergency medicine, family medicine, and hospitalist care. Dr. Hoffman received his Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University and completed his residency at Mercy Medical Center in Mason City, Iowa.
Dr. Hoffman has a diverse work experience in the medical field. He has served as an Emergency Dept. Physician/Hospitalist, Emergency Dept. Physician, and Family Medicine Physician in various healthcare settings. Dr. Hoffman has also worked as a Medical Director, Deputy Medical Examiner, and provided care in areas such as inpatient, outpatient, and obstetrics. His extensive experience demonstrates his versatility and expertise in emergency medicine, family medicine, and hospitalist care.
Dr. Hoffman is board certified in Family Medicine and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Dr. Hoffman is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Iowa Medical Society
Outside of his medical career, Dr. Hoffman finds joy in engaging in various interests and activities. He cherishes family time with his wife and children and enjoys coaching his kids in various sports. Staying physically active through exercise and attending sporting events are also things he enjoys.
