Biography

Michael Perry belongs to the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, American Society of Regional Anesthesia since 1983, and has been an active member of the American Academy of Pain Management since 1994. In September of 2014, he was awarded Pain Practitioner of the Year by Pain Week, the largest pain organization in the country. Michael has over 1400 hours of continued education in Pain Management over the past 20 years. Perry has been in practice since March of 1978 as a nurse anesthetist, but into treating chronic pain patients in the mid-1980s. He has been a guest speaker on chronic pain for the past 20 years, locally and nationally. He has had a full-time private pain practice for 20+ years with offices in Omaha and Council Bluffs, as well as clinics in Red Oak, IA and Aurora, NE. He treats from head to toe, whether it be for headaches/migraines, trauma, post-surgical pain, extremity pain, abdominal/pelvic pain, chest pain, shingles (both acute and post herpetic) fractured ribs, neuropathies, head, neck, shoulder pain of any kind, low back pain, sciatica, hip pain and groin pain as well foot pain.
