The PETAL (Providing Exceptional Treatment and Affirming Lives) Award is a program that honors and celebrates the skillful, compassionate care our employees provide every day. We want to say “thank you” to our employees in a very public way.

The PETAL Award recognizes employees who are extraordinary in the impact they have on compassionate patient care.

Anyone in direct patient care who isn't an RN can be nominated (check out our DAISY award for nominating an RN)! That might include, environmental services, certified medical assistants, certified nursing assistants, respiratory therapists, dietary, lab technicians, social services and more!

If you're thinking about nominating someone for the PETAL Award, consider individuals who:

Lead by example, showing exceptional behavior.
Foster an environment built on trust, compassion, respect, and continuous professional growth.
Inspire their team with a shared vision for better outcomes for both themselves and their patients.

Work towards improving how patient care is seen within our organization, the community, and the profession as a whole.
