Biography

Abbey A. Christensen, PA-C, grew up on a farm in Bennington, Nebraska. She developed an affinity for the sciences at a young age and knew medicine was her calling after sustaining a serious sports injury at age 14. Abbey obtained her Bachelor of Science in Education and Human Sciences at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She then completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she graduated as a Regent Scholar. Following her PA education, Abbey worked in Transplant Surgery at Nebraska Medicine for three years where she saw a variety of complex medical conditions including those on the skin. Abbey enjoys the many facets of dermatology as well as cosmetology and particularly loves getting to know her patients. Abbey enjoys gardening, cooking, Pilates, and traveling to new places.
