Biography

Dr. Couse is board certified in Family Medicine and treats patients from birth to elderly. Family medicine has allowed him to provide the best possible care to all members of the family. Dr. Couse completed his training at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, NE and his residency was completed through University of Nebraska Medical Center rural training track at North Platt, NE. His clinical interests include sports medicine and gastrointestinal endoscopy specifically in rural communities. His philosophy of patient care is to be an advocate for patients as they make health care decisions.  Dr. Couse enjoys family medicine most because every day is different and it brings a variety of ages and medical issues, which makes for an interesting and challenging career. He enjoys taking that extra moment to fully understand the patients concerns and how it will affect the person or even a whole family, and then providing a treatment plan for the best possible outcome. When Dr. Couse is not at the clinic, he enjoys spending his free time with his wife and children.
