Biography

Brianna Schaffer, DNP, ARNP joined Montgomery County Memorial Hospital + Clinics in November 2018 as a family practice provider. Brianna is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She attended Southwestern Community College (SWCC) where she obtained her associate degree in nursing in 2014. She then obtained her undergraduate from Upper Iowa University in 2016 and her Master of Science in nursing degree in October 2018 while working as a travel nurse at rural hospitals in Iowa. She then went on to complete her Doctorate of Nursing degree from Chamberlain University in 2021. Brianna grew up outside of Creston, Iowa where she continues to reside with her husband and son. She has numerous interests and hobbies, but especially enjoys spending time with her family on their farm. Brianna loves rural healthcare and its challenges. She strives to bring patients every possible resource for optimal health.
