Biography

Meg Kinney is a nurse practitioner specializing in cardiology at Methodist Health System. She graduated from Creighton University. Kinney focuses primarily on stress testing, inpatient cardiology and heart failure. She likes talking to patients about preventing illnesses and believes in providing care to a person’s entire being – not just their heart. Kinney became interested in medicine while studying exercise science at Creighton. That interest grew when she took a class on clinical exercise testing and EKG analysis. An internship in cardiac rehabilitation solidified her career path in health care.
