Biography

Sherstin is the current Director of Pharmacy Operations for Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. She has a Doctorate of Pharmacy and Masters of Public Administration from Drake University. She started her career as a Walmart Pharmacy manager, before becoming a hospital pharmacist. Prior to working at MCMH, she worked for Unity Point in Waterloo as a staff pharmacist in the hospital and later as an oncology pharmacist for the cancer center. Sherstin was able to complete board certification in pharmacotherapy while working as pharmacy director at MCMH. Sherstin has worked at MCMH for 5 years as the hospital pharmacy manager prior to moving into an administrative role overseeing the retail and hospital pharmacies.
