Biography
After graduating from residency in 1998, Dr. Lapke took a full- time position as an emergency room physician at Midlands Hospital in Papillion, Nebraska. In 1999, he opened his own family medicine clinic in Bellevue, NE and operated it until 2007. Dr. Lapke continued to work as an emergency room physician while operating his clinic and in 2007 decided to close the clinic and return to full-time work as an emergency medicine physician. "I enjoy the challenges of emergency medicine and utilizing the skills I have acquired." Dr. Lapke and his wife, Brook, live in Papillion, NE and have three adult children, two sons-in-law, a grandson who lives in the Omaha area and three children still at home. "We love spending time with our family." When not practicing medicine, Dr. Lapke enjoys woodworking and staying very busy with all the family activities.
